About Beverly …
I am a returning Singaporean who has lived abroad for many years, mainly in the UK. I hold a Master of Engineering in Engineering, Economics and Management from Oxford University and began working in investment banking in London and Hong Kong. After many years in finance, I took a step back to raise my family - two children, two cats and a dog, in London. Following a few significant life challenges, I retrained and qualified with a Master of Counselling to realign my life with what felt most meaningful. My professional background and lived experience give me a deep understanding of the pressures faced by individuals, couples and families today - the pursuit of success, the strain of competing demands, and the toll it can take on mental health and relationships.
In my work, I bring empathy, insight and practicality. I help clients make sense of their inner world, strengthen communication and connection, and create more balance and fulfilment in their personal and professional lives. I draw from a few modalities, including CBT, ACT, Person Centred Therapy and the Gottman Method.
